Coronavirus Update: British Para Table Tennis postpone Annual General Meeting

Coronavirus Update:
British Para Table Tennis postpone Annual General Meeting

British Para Table Tennis (BPTT) has postponed their Annual General Meeting, which was scheduled for 4 April 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

BPTT had already postponed their National Championships to be held at Grantham Meres Leisure Centre on the 4-5 April 2020.

Chairman Karen Tonge MBE has advised the Board and members it would be “impossible” to hold the planned meeting” with the venue closed, the attendant health risks, plus government instructions to self-isolate and only travel if a necessity”.

“In the circumstances, the AGM has been postponed until such time as it is safe to proceed,” she added. This comes at the end of the week in which the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games were postponed until 2021.

We are all facing challenging times and hope that everyone will follow the guidance given so that we will overcome these challenges.
