Adele Stach-Kevitz
Chairperson
Adele Stach-Kevitz is a business consultant and mentor who has worked and advised in a variety of sporting roles, including the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics as part of the organising committee, as well as Formula 1, the FIFA 2022 World Cup and the International Paralympic Committee. She was recently the Interim Chair and Senior Independent Director of British Swimming and formerly the Chair of Taekwondo Organisation Limited.
She specialises in strategy and event management and formerly led the Para-Transport planning for the London 2012 Paralympics, continuing her association with the International Paralympic Association in the development of IPC Para-sport strategies. Passionate about equality she strives for inclusivity in every aspect of sport, from the boardroom to the field of play. In her free time, Stach-Kevitz is co-patron and Deputy Chair of Newham and Essex Beagles Athletics Club and (in her own words) an ever-slowing marathon runner. She also represented England in Hockey at University, where she was awarded a Blue.
“I am thrilled to join British Para Table Tennis as Chair at what is an exciting time,” commented Stach-Kevitz, “building on the tremendous foundation and legacy Karen Tonge OBE passes on, but also ahead of the Paris 2024 Paralympics, as the Performance squad prepares for next summer’s Games.
“My passion for Paralympic sport is life-long and embedded within my values, having grown up around disabled family members. I see so much talent in Para sport pathways and I am privileged to have this opportunity of working with BPTT and table tennis communities to grow and develop the British team and promote a broader engagement in the sport.”
